The modern human exists in a complicated and unnatural environment. We have flourished on virtually every land environment the planet has to offer, and we have created huge concrete cities in which to live.
These cities are often referred to as the Urban Jungle as if cities are mere concrete replicas of our ancient habitat. This is not the case.
In cities we have limited space in which to move, we are in close confinement with other animals and the environment is artificial. In fact, the environment in which we live is more akin to a zoo than a jungle. A Human Zoo.
